Rainwater Harvesting Systems

WaveSave’s rainwater harvesting systems collect rain from catchment surfaces, filter and treat it, and track how much is collected, turning rainfall into a reliable water source.

Our innovative rainwater harvesting systems combine cutting-edge technology with intelligent design to transform precipitation into a reliable water resource for your community.

Frequently asked questions about rainwater harvesting

What is rainwater harvesting?

Rainwater harvesting is collecting rain from surfaces such as roofs or paved areas and storing it for later use, for example for irrigation, cleaning or, after treatment, drinking water.

Rain runs off a catchment surface into gutters or channels. A first-flush diverter and filters remove the dirtiest water and debris, and the water is stored in a tank or basin. Treatment and monitoring depend on how the water will be used.

Not without treatment. Rainwater can contain germs and chemicals from the air and the catchment surface, so the treatment depends on the measured water quality and on how the water will be used. Drinking water needs the most treatment and regular testing.
