WaveSave will join the Dutch delegation at Vietwater 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City from 4 to 6 November. During the exhibition, we will present practical solutions for flood protection, water storage, early warning and climate resilience.

About World Water Week 2026

Vietwater is a major international exhibition for water resources, water supply, wastewater treatment and environmental technology in Vietnam.

The event brings together technology providers, water professionals, government representatives, engineers, project owners and industrial organisations. In addition, its conferences and technical sessions allow participants to exchange practical knowledge and discuss developments in the water sector.

The organiser expects more than 500 suppliers and over 11,000 water-sector visitors. As a result, Vietwater provides an important platform for organisations seeking new technologies, project partners and market opportunities in Vietnam.

SLAMDAM mobile flood protection

A central part of our participation will be SLAMDAM, a reusable, water-filled mobile flood barrier.

Teams can transport the barrier while it is empty and deploy it where temporary protection is needed. They then fill the system with locally available water to create weight and stability.

After use, teams can empty, remove and store the barrier for a later deployment. Therefore, SLAMDAM can support emergency response without requiring permanent construction at every vulnerable location.
