WaveDam Impresses Royals at Kenya State Climate Visit

During their March 2025 state visit to Kenya, the Dutch King and Queen dedicated significant time to WaveSave’s WaveDam demonstration at Lake Naivasha. The innovative mobile flood barriers showcased rapid deployment capabilities, drawing praise from King Willem-Alexander—who called it a “clever marriage of proven materials and real-time data”—and Queen Máxima, who highlighted its community-driven implementation model. The demonstration underscored WaveDam’s dual role in both flood protection and water storage for drought management, perfectly aligning with the visit’s focus on climate resilience and water security.

Thai Delegation Visits The Netherlands

A high-level delegation from Thailand’s Royal Irrigation Department visited the Netherlands to explore cutting-edge flood and water management solutions as part of the Partners for International Business (PIB) program.
